how does it work

We combine different modules (see “modules”) to an interesting story. This story is brought to you either as a training or as a lecture/keynote.

The concepts that are covered in each of the modules are easy to understand, practical and ready to use, whatever you position, whatever your sector. Moreover, the new insights are not only applicable at work but are also of use in your private life.

your choice

If you opt for a training, together we select the modules and their related concepts. You should plan 30’ min. to 90’ max. per module. Each of the modules can be extended with a workshop on “how to deal with the learnings in practice”. Add min. 15’ to max. 30’ per workshop. Comparing it to a journey we will undertake, this arrangement can be booked from upwards of 10 participants and can last as long as you want.

As an alternative to the separate modules, you can also opt for a trip with the following themes; “I”, “you and I”, “we” or an “à la carte” formula.

You can also opt for a lecture or keynote. In that case we will select the modules that best suit your situation. Optionally, I could also share my personal experience within bpost. This typically takes between 30’ min. and 90’. But we can make it somewhat shorter or longer, just as you wish….

And if you should find it hard to choose, then I will gladly advise you on the best way forward.

Anyway, this journey will surely stimulate your curiosity. As we discover and explore new horizons you will get to know yourself and your colleagues in a somewhat different way. You will become more conscious of what is going on in your surroundings. You will develop a sense for self-reflection, a strive for action and the will to engage. In short, after this journey, you will aspire to travel again, travel further, travel further together. And the journey also makes you a better person. Sure thing.

mood – Why did everything work out yesterday, but no longer today? Are you aware of the impact of your mood?

energy – How does one arouse that spark of team-spirit? How to create positive energy among others? Did you know that the key is your own energy level?

win-win – Does someone else always have to lose so that you can win? Not all the time. What other alternatives are there?

filters – Why does my colleague see things differently? Maybe he or she creates her own reality? Or maybe it’s you?

focus – Why aren’t you as effective or creative as you would like to be? Perhaps it’s because you get easily distracted?

personal values – What drives you? What are those personal values that allow you to feel great and bring you in the flow, as an individual and as a team? 

curiosity - How to adopt a curious attitude? Did you know that curiosity is the key to new innovative thinking and ideas?

feedback – People want feedback about how they are doing and what they can improve. But how do you handle that? How to best motivate others?

coaching - As a coach, show a little more curiosity and do ask the right questions. Shall we make this into a new habit?

role model – How do we influence the people that surround us? Are you modelling the behaviour you promote? And does this translate itself in your actions?

listening – You think you are a good listener? Perhaps, some of your co-workers say otherwise?

positive perspective
- Do you regularly start off from a negative perspective when you see things happening around you? Wouldn’t you more likely operate at your best if you assume a positive intent?

collaboration – How do you encourage teamwork? How do you make sure that your team works in the flow and performs optimally?

agility - A flexible attitude is a must in a world of continuous change. But does your team also manage to respond quickly?

behaviour styles – How to adapt to your interlocutor? Are you speaking the language that suits your partner?

accountability – How can you make the difference? How to initiate and encourage empowerment?

priorities – Are you spending your time well? Do you take time to decide what is really important?

You can also travel according to themes. In that case the training (or lecture) will be built around the themes below.

Before we take off on our journey, we first look into the mirror and discover the modules that are directly linked with the individual. We ask ourselves the following questions: What makes me tick? Why am I who I am? Why do I behave in a certain way? Why do I have my own outlook on things? What are my habits? How do I discover new insights?

Under this theme we rank the following modules: mood, energy, win-win, filters, focus, personal values.

During this journey we engage to interact and discover what type of behaviour is helpful. We explore our surroundings and are open to new encounters. We discover the modules that focus on the interaction between two individuals.

We discover the wide world and get acquainted with the modules that facilitate collaboration in a team and that can be applied in whatever organization, company or association.

Until 2020, new employees (Newcomers) and young starters (Young Talents) took part in the cultural program 'leading@bpost'. They participated enthusiastically, left the session with new insights and were happy to share their positive impressions. like 'one of the best training sessions ever!". The experience I offer you through b2b is undoubtedly heading the same way...

On 5th August 2019 the construction company Cordeel, located in Temse ,organized a safety-day for its personnel. 400 employees, divided over several groups took part and participated to different modules. b2b accounted for one particular module on customer centricity named “How to turn your customer into a fan”. And as the day went by and the insights grew, most of the employees became a fan of b2b too….

At Let’s Talk & Inspire events, Trends Top connects the people behind the figures and companies. Four events were planned this spring that will be supported by b2b.On 4th February 2020, 25 senior managers were invited for a light business lunch. Whether they had the desire to network differently? Place to be: #Wolvenbos Kapellen. Together we went in search of creative herbs to reflect on the importance of corporate culture while decomposing though habits into bite-sized new insights. Connecting indeed goes beyond algorithms that exchange zeros and ones … On to the next event!

We all want change, but we constantly tend to fall into our old habits. Are you looking for someone who can give that little push so that you and your co-workers will effectively support change? Then you’ve come to the right place. I am ready to guide you, with humour, creativity and lots of passion for cultural change.

I have been working at bpost for 25 years, a company acting in constantly changing market conditions. As a cultural ambassador I was one of the driving forces behind an internal training program to improve our corporate culture. Tomorrow I want to go a step further and discover new horizons where I can also bring about change.

What is different in my approach? Well, participants discover new insights resulting from the aha-moments that they experience during keynotes, trainings and workshops. New insights open the way to a willingness to change and to new behavioural patterns. It makes you ready for new ideas and someone else’s opinion. Thus, generating a positive, energized atmosphere as the confidence between colleagues grows. That way, everyone will take on more responsibility, while getting their priorities straight. And this leads to better results. And that's what we want, isn't it? By the way, everything you learn in these sessions is also valuable out-of-office and even in your private life. So, are you ready to engage?

Do you know what I like about this idea? Every day, I get up to do something I like. With a curious mind I take deep dives into “what I do” and relate it to everyday situations. I am thrilled when being able to wrap up “the what” in a creative, inspiring storyline, and then bring it live to an audience. And what makes it stick, is the fact that participants “experience” each concept in a so called “aha-moment”. I don’t recount. You experience. That way it sticks much better.

And do you wish to know more about my other passions? Then, I would like to tell you something more. First of all, I am a long-term investor in stocks. Secondly, I love to collect some nice, beautiful antique 18th century wine bottles. And as I am a certified zythologist, I love to combine a nice dish with the best suited beer. So maybe b2b might also serve other means in the future…
